Jan Frodeno Iron Man

Oakley enlisted Stept to write and produce a commercial featuring world champion triathlete Jan Frodeno. The spot was created to air during the broadcast of the Kona Ironman Championship.

Stept co-founder and director, Nick Martini, worked with DP, Amado Stachenfeld, to create a unique take of the life of a triathlete. Consciously avoiding the traditional "athletic-spot" intensity, the lighter comedic approach pokes fun at how training never ends for a champion endurance athlete.

Over a two day shoot in Girona, Spain our team produced 6 deliverables including a 60s spot, 30s spot, 2x 15s spots, 15s helmet specific ad, and a 30s victory promo.
