Miles Joris-Peyrafitte

New York, NY

In 2016 Miles Joris-Peyrafitte became one of the youngest winners at the Sundance Film Festival when his feature film “As You Are” won the Dramatic Special Jury Award.

The film’s stars, Charlie Heaton and Amandla Stenberg, went on to star in Stranger Things and Hunger Games respectively. Shortly after, Miles was requested by Academy Award Nominee, Margot Robbie, to direct “Dream Land”, a feature film that recently premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

In between films, Miles has been working on a series of commercials and documentary films with Stept Studios, a Los Angeles based production studio. His recent award-winning docu-short entitled, Brujas, tells the story of young female skateboarders breaking down societal norms in New York City.

Today, Miles is writing his new feature film, “The Hunter and the Fox”, with Annapurna Pictures while also developing docu-shorts that feature real-life characters.
